Some International Steam stores have leaked the release date for Sega’s Sonic Mania. Though it’s still weeks away from coming out as expected, the game will still be published from the Summer of 2017. 2i2241
As spotted by Gametransfers, the German Steam store demonstrated that Sonic Mania will probably be out on August 15th, 2017. It is likely to be true as they would not want to publish the game, although It has yet to be officially ed by Sega.
So this date could be legitimate, august is in the Summer period of the Northern Hemisphere. It also avoids the projected Fall 2017 release window for Sonic Forces and other games.
Mania is the old-school style Sonic video game releasing on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Hopefully 2017 is the year that Sonic games become good again.
