Formerly referred to as previously known as DC Extended Universe and the Snyderverse by the fans of the DC Extended Universe, DC’s attempt at an unifying film franchise started by releasing Man Of Steel which ended in The Flash, a recent failure. Flash. Flash .

Despite having released some solid films including Man Of Steel and Wonder Woman, all of the universe appeared to go into the abyss of the partnership film Justice League. It was originally planned to be directed by Zack Snyder before he was eliminated from the film and replaced by Joss Whedon.

It was a thoroughly typical superhero film that left a bad odor on the lips of fans which criticized DC’s decision to drop Snyder. It was the result that led to a massive campaign to “release Snyder’s cut Snyder version,” which eventually happened this year.

It appears that the film’s fans weren’t the only ones who weren’t satisfied with this film. The ex- DC President, Diane Nelson, has itted that the movie is “terrible.”

In an interview on Bleeding Cool, Nelson said: “Yeah I’m saying that I felt the end film was awful. Yes, I’d have preferred to see a more dark or long-than-I’d like Zack Snyder cut than the Frankenstein cut that we received at the theater. The Trinity characters from Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman should have, at any rate, completely blown every other movie about superheroes And they did not.”

In any case, Nelson doesn’t fully endorse Snyder’s method of filmmaking and he goes on to state: “There’s a place for Zack’s films but I’ve always desired Zack to be member of the DC filmmaking line-up. What if he was the person who defined the DC universe? Perhaps not, but in the future. Hard questions.”

Future of the DC film universe is now at the feet of James Gunn, who’s taken the reins and is set to launch the new world by releasing Superman: Legacy.
