WoW Classic Season of Discovery: Scourge Invasions Confirmed for Phase 8 591yz
World of Warcraft Classic has clarified that Scourge Invasions will remain active during Phase 8 of the Season of Discovery, despite earlier confusion. Players can continue to participate in this world event after the April 8 update, battling undead and cultists in major cities and other zones for valuable rewards such as Necrotic Runes and Sanctified armor. 113t49
The confusion arose when certain builds of the Phase 8 Public Test Realm did not include Scourge Invasions, leading players to assume the event would be removed. However, senior game producer Josh “Aggrend” Greenfield confirmed that Scourge Invasions will remain available on live servers.
With Phase 8 set to bring new content like outdoor quests in New Avalon and the Scarlet Enclave raid, players can enjoy these additions while still taking on the Scourge invasions. The new raid is scheduled for April 10 at 1 PM PDT, while the New Avalon content will be accessible after maintenance on April 8.
