RuneScape: Dragonwilds Update 0.7.3 Brings Velgar Fix and Cloud Saves 5rn2k
Jagex has revealed the patch notes for RuneScape: Dragonwilds Update 0.7.3, which is expected to roll out in the coming days. The update addresses one of the biggest frustrations for players: Velgar’s meteor attacks. 2w1u14
Previously, Velgar’s meteors could through base roofs, giving players no safe shelter. Update 0.7.3 changes this, making meteors “less of a problem” when players are under cover. While it’s unclear if roofs now provide full protection, this should make surviving Velgar encounters more manageable.
The update also introduces cloud saves, another heavily requested feature, so players no longer need to back up local files manually.
Other fixes include improvements to ranged combat desync, quest completion bugs, XP balancing for Splinter, and visual glitches like beard clipping and off-target blood effects. Additional tweaks include better NPC visibility, controller fixes, and world stability improvements.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds continues to receive regular updates since launching in early access on April 15, with more content and potential PvPvE areas still under consideration.
