Elden Ring modders are truly remarkable at taking an already spectacular game and expanding it even further. There are so many mods for it, changing up difficulty or adding new areas – this recent release seems to overhaul an extensive amount of the game while adding plenty of goodies that’ll extend playthrough sessions further still!
Reborn was developed by a small team of designers dedicated to Elden Ring updates, but stands to completely alter many aspects of gameplay – creating more of an Elden Ring sequel-type experience than simply updating what existed already.
Reborn’s mod page details all of its changes to the base game, though most aspects have likely been altered. An early mention in Reborn’s blurb states: “Overhauled The Overworld, Dungeons & Legacy Dungeons, Boss Fights, Enemies Weapon Movesets Merchants. Overhaul ALL Talismans Great Runes Spells.” Which shows that all aspects have been scrutinised thoroughly by Reborn.
With features like an innovative deflect system; Ethereal Medallion shop that rewards players with access to new gear; FP regeneration as well as first-person mode, there’s more than enough here for fans who demand more from the game.
Just a few changes would refresh the game, especially its updated enemies and map modifications; and fans have responded positively. It feels like playing an entirely new title; console players might feel jealous once they see some of these updates for themselves!
If you want more Elden Ring without waiting until the DLC releases, give this mod some consideration – it will bring back memories of playing FromSoft games like you used to know and love!
